What this is

Five Seats simulates Taskmaster UK seasons that never happened. Pick any five contestants from 21 series, and a statistical model runs the season ten thousand times to see who tends to win, who gets robbed, and who was always going to come last. The engine is a Thurstonian latent-strength model fitted to every scored task in the show's history. If that sentence did something for you, the Methods page goes much deeper.

Who made this

A fan with a laptop and an unhealthy relationship with Taskmaster. You can reach me at contact@fiveseats.tv, especially if you've found a data error. I take those personally.

The legal bit

This is an unofficial fan project. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or anything-else'd by Taskmaster, Avalon Television, or Channel 4. If you are Little Alex Horne: hello, enormous fan, please don't sue. All I did was maths, which I believe you'd respect.
